In April 2008, Danica Patrick made history when she became the first woman ever to win a race in the IndyCar® Series.
The 2009 Limited Edition watch of this Tissot ambassador celebrates her success – and her unrivaled ability to combine dynamism with stylish femininity. The new Tissot T-Race Danica Patrick fuels precision-timekeeping with elegant design in a limited edition of 4,999 pieces. Understandably, one watch is already in pole position on the wrist of this ‘First Lady’ of motorsport.
Coloured by success
The Tissot T-Race Danica Patrick is predominantly white, showcasing design details in the blue of her team. Fine blue seconds hands and numbers on the tachymetre and one chronograph counter develop the intrinsic theme of stylish dynamism with their eye-catching beauty and readability at a glance. The dial is in mother-of-pearl and a sculptured, white rubber strap keeps this special T-Race in place – even if the wearer subjects it to some white-knuckle cornering. Reflecting the spirit of the racetrack is a sporty, stainless steel case with a chequered flag marked on the rotating bezel. The chequered flag also finds its way on to the white case back, where it underlines Danica’s lightening-bolt logo. The Tissot signature of authenticity comes in the form of the engraved number of the watch just below the flag.
A winning partnership
Danica Patrick became a Tissot brand ambassador in 2005 and both parties are committed to a long-term partnership. Tissot admires both her dedication to performance and her courage to stand up for what she believes in, particularly fairness. For Danica the partnership with Tissot has opened up new channels to communicate with her fans around the world – she declares: “I absolutely love all the styles that Tissot has to offer. They let me express my mood or style no matter what it is or what I am wearing!”
